My partner here is a big hawaiian honu, a seaturtle. They use to come onto the shores in the afternoons - aren't they beautiful?

(Two days before this shot was taken, I went into the water at Anaehoomalu beach and three huge seaturtles were swimming around my legs. It was magical.)

Oh shit you are so lucky. I live on the islands and I hardly get to see any honu... Oahu has too many people they tend to avoid most of the island I go to D:

There's a law that you can't go five feet or so to them (or maybe that was the seals...) since they're protected.

But I'm seriously shocked you got that close! Lucky lucky~ Hope you had fun in the islands ;D

Awww, I love how the turtle's just like, chilling there - being all cute. That's an amazing shot, Hawaii is beautiful (and perfect for KH cosplay photos!)
