Harry Potter Marauder Hogwarts

Sweet memories! The Marauders and the Slytherins, in a good old past.
These two groups are so different from each other. Gryffindors and Slytherins may attend the same school, still they live in totally different worlds. Hopefully this picture manages to convey this. The Slytherins: all in dignity, the heirs representing their noble families, aware of their future responsibilities towards the wizarding world (all but Snape, who just tries to fit in XD). And on the other side, the Gryffindors, or rather the Marauders, not caring for a thing in the world, having the time of their lifes (literally, they didn't manage to live a lot after graduation XD). The gloomy atmosphere of the Slytherin common room and the sunny playful afternoon nonsense of the Marauders.

This also gives off a bit of a melancholic feeling. This was when the world still seemed to be allright. A moment captured before it all broke down.



And at the same time, these photos unite some of my dearest people in the world.

On the school uniforms: We never liked that the movies just ignored that they were there, featuring the characters more and more in 'muggle' clothing. The first two films were more close to the books; I guess everyone agrees here. The uniform design has been done by ~HarrySirius (boys) and ~kawaiiKumo (girls). They imagined the 'old' Hogwarts student to have had a different uniform; after all this were different times and every school's uniforms change during the decades. This one was meant to be more classic, wizardy and noble. I like it a lot! Especially the capes.
