Friends,

I've just logged into this account for the first time in... years. 
And I thought it would maybe be appropriate to leave a message here, since I left kind of suddenly and never came back.
Nothing big happened. It's just life. I've been cosplaying for almost 20 years now and my free years are long since over. It was an easy and fun thing to do during my years at university, also during working on my PhD. But not anymore. I'm a management consultant for some years now and I just don't have the time to continue what I did for many years. Or rather: I do have the time, but after work I'm just too exhausted. I stopped doing many things I love and I found new things to love. 
But I also continued some things. I'm still leading Tsuki no Senshi, Europe's premier anime and manga show troupe, and we're still doing shows all over Germany. This hasn't changed. Ravenic and me are still together. I love her dearly. We travel a lot. From time to time we're still cosplaying. I just didn't do anything much recently.

Dear friends. I just wanted to say thank you. I owe you a few of the best years of my life. There are many things I did and saw and felt and experienced I woudn't have been able to without you. You shaped me a lot into the person I am - and I think that's a good thing. I'm a happy person. I have a good life. I'm well and loved and good and I wanted to tell you, that I owe you a good deal for that.
I'll never forget that.

This is not goodbye. I'll still be around - and if you want to, you may also follow me into my life now and what I do these days.

It's shocking. Those who only follow me here on DA haven't heard from me since summer! How can that be?

2014 is almost over and it was the cosplay-less year in a decade. But so much has happened, me finishing my PhD and working a lot, getting around a lot... those who follow me on Twitter will know!

I'm usually not posting personal stuff on dA anymore (see my Twitter for daily life babble), but there's something major I want to share with all of you.

Those following me for a bit longer might still remember that I was working towards my doctorate during the recent 2-3 years. Well, I'm done! I achieved my Ph.D. with A-grades and was awarded with MAGNA CUM LAUDE (latin for 'with great praise').

That means I'm now officially a doctor (not in medicine, if you might wonder)! How amazing is that?

SHIPPING: The shipping costs depend on where you live. They'll always be added to the cosplay's price, but of course I don't know yet how much the shipping will cost in any case. I'll keep them as low for you as possible. I ship worldwide!

PRICES: All prices are what I had to spend on the materials, nothing is added for the tailoring because I wore them before. In some cases it's even less than the material costs. Please respect the prices, I only used the best suitable fabrics so they're often not the cheapest ones. But if you want a cosplay really badly but you can only pay a little less than the price, we can talk about it. I hope that's ok for you!

Hey there friends,

in a few hours I'll be another year older - I'll be turning 30.
That probably means not just a new decade but also the prospect of some life-changing events.

Looking back at the last ten years... wow. What a time. So much has happened. And I can say, nothing was bad. Of course there were challenges and bad days and unnerving people, but nothing that happened was bad overall. I had a damn good time. I graduated from university, got myself a name in the cosplay community, directed and played in almost twenty musicals, made friends, lost friends, met people, learned things, did things, changed things, saw the world.
Thank you to everyone I met along the road during these years. You made my life richer! And I hope to see you again in the course of the next ten years.
